Refreshing a brand with decades of history and extremely high brand recognition demands more than just design: it requires sensitivity, strategy, and a deep understanding of the consumer. For three years, we worked on the evolution of Thrombocid, a leader in its sector, with a clear goal: to modernize its identity and packaging without undermining the connection built over time. Every decision was meticulously calibrated to preserve its most recognizable elements, optimize its performance at the point of sale, and prepare the brand for the future. It was a balancing act between legacy and evolution, where what truly mattered was not that the change be noticeable, but that it work.

Thrombocid is a legendary brand in its category, with a reputation that has been firmly established for decades. The main challenge of the project was to update its logo—which had remained unchanged for years—without consumers perceiving a break from the identity they already know and trust. We worked with absolute respect for its visual DNA, refining proportions, optimizing lines, and improving the overall legibility and balance. The intervention was precise and restrained: a natural evolution that modernizes the brand, strengthens its presence on store shelves, and ensures its relevance in digital environments, while keeping its iconic character intact.

PACKAGING DESIGN

Thrombocid’s packaging is one of the product’s most recognizable assets. Its design is deeply ingrained in consumers’ collective imagination, so any changes had to be carefully considered to avoid causing confusion at the point of sale. The redesign introduces improvements in visual hierarchy, clarity of information, and graphic consistency, while respecting the core elements that have built the brand’s reputation. Colors, typography, and composition were optimized to create greater impact and order, while maintaining the original essence that ensures immediate recognition. The result is a coherent update that strengthens the brand without losing its legacy.
